Pillar 01  /  Words

Copy that sells without begging.

Nearly a decade of writing for founders, coaches and brands who need their words to actually do something. If your content isn’t bad but nobody is reading it, the problem is rarely the topic. It’s the first line.

Why most content fails

Nobody owes you their attention

Most business writing fails for the same reason: it opens by talking about the business. Your reader arrives mid-scroll, mid-thought, with a hundred other tabs open, and the first sentence they meet is about your founding year.

Good copy does the opposite. It names the reader’s problem more accurately than they could name it themselves — and it earns the next sentence, then the next.

That’s the whole craft. Not clever wordplay. Accuracy about what somebody wants and what they’re afraid of.

  • “We publish constantly and get almost nothing back.”
  • “The writing is technically correct but has no personality.”
  • “Our landing page gets traffic and no enquiries.”
  • “I know what I want to say. I can’t make it sound good.”

What you can commission

Writing deliverables

Single pieces, ongoing content, or a full messaging overhaul. Scoped and quoted per project.

Conversion writing

Copy that has a job

  • Website & landing page copy — homepage, services, about, sales pages
  • Sales & direct response copy — offers, launch sequences, pitches
  • Email marketing — welcome sequences, newsletters, nurture flows
  • Ad copy — Meta, Google, LinkedIn, with variations for testing
  • Brand messaging — positioning, taglines, voice guidelines

Content writing

Content people finish

  • SEO blog articles — researched, structured, written for humans first
  • Social media content — captions, carousels, hooks, content calendars
  • Video & course scripts — written for the ear, not the page
  • Thought leadership — LinkedIn and founder-voice ghostwriting
  • Long-form assets — lead magnets, guides, case studies

How a writing project runs

What actually happens

  1. STEP 01

    Voice audit

We read what you’ve already published, note what performed and what sounded wrong, and agree the voice before writing anything.

  2. STEP 02

    Angle & outline

You approve the angle and structure first. It’s far cheaper to change direction at outline stage than after a full draft.

  3. STEP 03

    Draft & refine

Delivered on the agreed date, then revised until you’re satisfied — not until a revision counter runs out.

  4. STEP 04

    Check back in

We follow up after it’s published to see how it performed, and adjust the approach for what comes next.
